Enjoy the natural beauty of a unique container home with a stellar master bathroom

Made from four shipping containers by Robertson Designs for developers Katie Nichols and John Walker, from Numen Development, the Cordell House is a planet-friendly container home that combines beauty with intelligence. The exterior features a recycled glass driveway, which looks amazing, and provides an awesome way to re-use this material.
Open, airy, and spacious, the home feels modern and elegant. Bamboo flooring creates the perfect contrast for the exposed walls of the container, and cream and green decor keeps the home feeling tranquil and relaxed. The open floor plan living and dining area offers plenty of family space to eat and unwind.

An oversized dining table seats six, and a paper lantern above the table gives the area a festive look. In the background, you can see the contemporary kitchen accented with pendant lighting. So pretty!
Modern appliances make the kitchen a chef's paradise, and built-in shelves provide storage. White counters and drawers give the kitchen a clean, fresh look.
The living room has the best view in the house! Floor to ceiling doors/windows provide plenty of natural light, and there is seating space in the form of comfortable leather chairs (the family has since placed couches in the room, too!)
The children's bedroom is painted a perky lime green, and there's a play space adjacent to the bedroom featuring a cozy, bright rug and a tiny table and chairs.
The primary bathroom features a cool tile design in the shower/tub. The wooden piece that the sink sits on was made from the same material as the flooring. The bathroom definitely has a personality of its own! The basin sink looks really neat atop the wood deck.
The master bedroom features a simple, minimal, yet cozy space. If you look in the background you'll see a reading nook! What a fun spot to curl up with a book and a cup of tea!
The master bathroom is really a jewel. Lime green tile wakes you up and makes you smile, and the double sink basin means there's more room for two! The sink is actually custom built from recycled steel and re-used glass! Before this was a sink, it was an architectural sign!
This is the most amazing shower...not only is there an indoor shower, but an outdoor shower, too. Look at all of that light. What a great way to start the day, a shower in the sunshine!
The oversized deck offers lots of space for grilling, playing, or just relaxing. You're looking into the fourth container used to build the home, which actually houses a separate guest apartment. This home is so cool, it must be hard for guests to say goodbye!
